The Georgia Theatre in Athens burned down this morning. I never hung out there with any regularity, but saw the secret REM show there in 2003 (?), a handful of crazy Ween shows and a number of random shows, and passed it on my bike at least 2000 times. It was really a great place, albeit for a different set of townies and its sad to see it gone...
