Yellow Bike fundraiser Saturday @ Scoot Inn with Magnifico, Brass Ovaries and more. If you're curious, Yellow Bike is within about $80,000 of beginning their new home on the East Side and are accepting donations via paypal. Yellow Bike's monthly collective meeting is Tuesday @ 7 @ BikeTexas.

Sunday, the Black Star Brewing Collective is hosting their Birthday Beer Circus from 4-9 @ Fiesta Gardens. Get advanced tickets for $5 here. Plenty of entertainment, good company and (512) Brewing beers on tap. Speaking of, when is somebody gonna re-invent Fiesta Gardens and get a water ski show going on in the old aquatheater?

I give 3 thumbs up the all three movies i've seen this week: Unknown Passage, Sunshine Cleaning and I Love You, Man.

Red Red Meat's Bunny Gets Paid was re-released recently on SubPop to critical acclaim, getting a fucking 8.9 from the reacharound masters! Their SXSW performance made me a little sad and teary eyed making me feel old while reminiscing of my days driving stoned out of my gourd around the farmlands in SW Michigan blasting Bunny Gets Paid and Jimmywine Majestic in my old blue truck for hours and hours on end... What album was there while I mindlessly consumed ounces upon ounces? Bunny Gets Paid. Thank you Red Red Meat!

Saturday, 5:07 Central plz cheer for Michigan State to beat the shit out of UConn so that they can beat the shit out of the 'Heels Monday night! The Spartans looked fantastic in their dismantling of Louisville last weekend despite being somehow heavily unfavored.
